Dr. Hannah Yecheskel, O.D. Dr. Yecheskel receives rave reviews from her patients, new and returned! Dr. Yecheskel provides an extremely thorough examination with intense attention to detail. Dr. Wendy Rothman, O.D., F.A.A.O. Dr. Rothman is a seasoned eye doctor who has served the citizens of the metropolitan area for over 25 years. Dr. Rothman comes to Shady Grove Eye and Vision Care from her previous private practice in Silver Spring. Dr. Rothman has a loyal patient following due to her excellent clinical skills and bedside manner. Dr. Rothman is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry, an honor bestowed on the best and brightest optometrists only.

Jiyon Cheng, O.D. Dr. Cheng has tremendous experience when it comes to children. She sees adults as well but her passion is taking care of children. Dr. Cheng is a graduate of George Washington University and NOVA Southeastern University. Dr. Cheng speaks Korean and is available to see patients on Fridays and Saturdays.

Stu Greathouse, Master Optician Stu is Lead Optician and Optical Manager. With 20 + years in the industry, you will find few opticians with the skills and knowledge level that Stu has accumulated. Stu is extremely thorough in discussing the latest in optical options including thin lenses, no-line bifocals specifically the new class of wide-corridor progressive lenses and computer correction options

Simon Voon, Optician Simon has over 6 years in the optical industry and is a top-notch optician. Simon joined Shady Grove Eye and Vision Care after being recruited by our doctors for his excellent patient care and optical skills.

Lorielle Fisher, Front Desk Coordinator Lori is our front desk specialist. Her friendly smile and caring attitude is experienced by every patient at our practice as they enter. If you need to schedule your appointment or follow up, need help understanding your bill or your insurance or just want to make sure that you receive the appropriate recall next year, Lori is the specialist you need to speak to. Very few practices have a single staffer dedicated to checking you in and another staffer dedicated to checking you out - the end result is efficient, personal service which is hard to find at any doctors office.

Kim Barnhouse, Benefits Manager Kim, now a veteran of SGEVC, has been a huge asset to the practice. Kim pays intense attention to detail and has a strong work ethic not to mention a caring attitude towards our patients. She handles insurance billing issues, HIPAA compliance and contact lens orders. She keeps the office running smoothly allowing the doctors to give through examinations and still remain on time.
